You received one of our devices that is pre-programmed with default TAPN.ME account and a link. Below are a few steps you must take to take over the account and either customize your link or forward your link to another site.
STEP 1: HOW DO I CHANGE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION (EMAIL/PASSWORD)? #
You should change the login information for your TAPN.ME account for your information.
1. Log in to your TAPN.ME account (Attached to your device shipping/packaging)
2. Navigate to your Account Name (Top Righthand Corner) and Click on Account
3. Change your Email with your active email
4. Type in your Current Password and then enter a New Password and also Confirm the Password
STEP 2: CHANGE YOUR LINK WITHIN THE LEAP LINK FEATURE #
The Leap Link feature is one of our most popular settings. This will allow you to change the direction of your link at any time without having to re-program the device and or the QR of your device.
- Within the Settings tab, click on the Advanced tab.
- Type in the desired link you would like to re-direct your current link
- Click Update
- You may test your like by clicking the Your link is https:\\tapn.me\YOURLINK. With the Leap Link feature off, your page will navigate to your TAPN.ME biopage and with the Leap Link feature enabled, your link (https:\\tapn.me\YOURLINK) will jump to the link you submitted in the Leap Link setting.
